The Boaters Lockmate is designed for full control of the boat
Gears & throttle(Forward & Reverse,) Enabling control of the
Boat in & out of locks. Therefore leaving the boater free to
Work the locks, without having to use of the lock ladder.

The system works by remote control, by a small hand held
transmitter ( About the size of a cigarette packet.)

The transmitter has only 4 buttons.

Forward, Reverse - Left & Right.

It is very safe & simple to use.
On pressing the forward on the remote, the gear stick will move to tick over & the boat slowly moves forward,

On release of the button, the gear stick moves back to neutral. The same occurs for reverse but with a little extra throttle for stopping.

When manual control is required, simply use the gearstick
as normal, there are no switches or buttons involved

The basic system will only control the throttle & gears.
The required servo for steering can be added at extra cost
& can be modified to work a bow thruster

The system is completely fail safe, for example: if the radio
Signal is lost or there is any interference or power loss,
ie: If the battery fails in the transmitter , every thing
returns to neutral.
